The Virtual Facilitator workshop: 26 September - 10 October 2011

Carol Sherriff and Simon Wilson are presenting Wilson Sherriff's Virtual Facilitator workshop as part of the pre-conference sessions for the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) Europe conference to be held in Istanbul, Turkey.

The session will run for two weeks, with an estimated commitment of 10 to 20 hours of distance learning, working in online groups and personal coaching.  
The workshop is designed for facilitators, coaches, professionals and managers who want to improve their skills in working with groups remotely and virtually. The workshop will enable participants to:

• Use a range of virtual facilitation techniques
• Use a range of creative approaches to working virtually that will help groups evoke creativity, stimulate energy and tackle problems
• Choose to work in a range of virtual environments such as telephone conferences, videoconferences, online forums, virtual summits, social media and blogs
• Improve their virtual facilitation skills based on practice and feedback from the workshop facilitators

The workshop will conclude with a face-to-face get together at the IAF Europe conference.
